Hope

Hope

I was just having a conversation with someone about how I feel like my music is too old to share. That I need to create something new. And then, I remembered why I write music in the first place. And why I wrote this song “Hope”

Music connects us, inspires us, ignites us into motion. Music, gives us hope.

And though, I am not sitting here, writing a political blog, I do feel that this song I wrote years ago should be shared now.

LISTEN TO \”HOPE\” HERE

It’s about humanity. It’s about doing what you can as an individual.

I believe that the world needs a little more love. Not just today, but always. It’s always needed more love. It’s always needed more strength. So have a little listen, maybe take the time to read the lyrics, and hopefully, it will bring you some positivity. For “Hope, is where the broken heart lays.”

My website it outdated, and statistically, you will only visit my site 3 times when it hasn’t been updated before you never come back. So I beg you, please turn a blind eye to the rest of the website and understand that I just couldn’t wait to post this blog while I waited to get my ducks in order.

Hope Written by haley k. turner

The sun is shining I have written songs like this before
But something is different now I think the world needs this song more
The water is rolling and I can’t help but think
Maybe it’s possible maybe hope is more than a dream

I’ve got one voice and you have got your choices too
If a child can speak the truth then I know there’s hope for me and you

It’s time
To stare it in the face
Stand up be strong
Finally be brave
Hope is where the broken heart lays
And it’s time to take a chance
This world could use a little change

All the people say, that it’s someone else's job to do
But I am telling you that it’s just as much yours too
We have it pretty great in this corner of our world
But just because it’s out of site doesn’t mean it’s not our fight

It’s time
To stare it in the face
Won’t you stand up be strong
Finally be brave
Hope is where the broken heart lays
And it’s time to take a chance
This world could use a little change

When you’re cold there’s someone freezing
When you’re poor there’s someone broke
When your eyes and heart are drifting
There’s a way
To regain hope

Let me hear you say

I will be a better person and try to save a life
A land without it’s people just ain’t right
Just ain’t right

So I will be a better person take your hand in mine
Together we will fight this together we’ll be fine
Together we’ll be fine
Together we’ll be fine

It’s time
To stare it in the face
Won’t you stand up be strong
Please finally be brave
Hope is where the broken heart lays
And it’s time to take a chance
This world could use a little change

Sometimes you need to give a little or ask for what you want
What would you be praying for if you could hold it in your palm
